Brass Durham International Festival

W piątek rozpoczął się międzynarodowy festiwal Brass. Od razu miasto ożyło. W centrum pojawiło się pełno ludzi. Normalnie w tygodniu są raczej pustki. Sprzyja też temu na pewno lepsza pogoda. Temperatura nadal nie przekracza 20 stopni, ale przynajmniej nie pada i świeci słońce.

On Friday, Brass Durham International Festival started. The city finally became alive. There are a lot of people in the city centre. Normally it is rather empty. Nice weather might be another reason for that. The temperature is still not above 20 degress, but it is not raining and the sun shines. 

Niemal na każdym moście oraz na rynku można spotkać rozmaite zespoły, które grają przenajróżniejszą muzykę. Moim ulubionym artystą jest murzyn w kilcie, który gra na dudach:D a że gra nad rzeką, to dźwięk roznosi się po całym mieście:) Festiwal trwa do 22 lipca, a w programie są przewidziane koncerty (takie uliczne oraz bardziej na poważnie w katedrze), gala górników i wiele innych. Almost everywhere in the city there are lots of bands, who play different kinds of music. My favourite artist was black guy in kilt playing bagpipe. He was playing by the river, so he could be heard everywhere in the city. Festival last until 22nd July.
